How To Create A Static Page

A static page is a page that is not shown in your blog archive, because it's not dated — it doesn't have a specific date and it only shows when it was updated.

You can use a page to create a post about yourself, your contact page, privacy policy page and so on.

To create a new page:

  1. Open your Blogger Dashboard.
  2. From the left menu select "Pages".
  3. From the menu at the top click on "New Page".
  4. Add your text and images; if you want to create a contact page with a contact form, you can find the tutorial here.
  5. If you don't want to allow the reader to add a comment on the page — on the right side of the page click on "Options" and in "Reader comments" select "Don’t allow".
  6. Save the page!
  7. Note: Since the page won't show up in your archive, you can access it from your Blogger Dashboard — go to "Pages" and below the title of the page click on "View".
