Instagram widget configuration

This template features an Instagram widget from SnapWidget. You need to register and create an account, but the widget is free and does not require credit card or PayPal information.

Creating the widget

  1. Go to Snapwidget.com.
  2. Create an account by clicking on “Sign Up” in top right corner.
  3. Go to your dashboard and click on the button “CREATE A NEW WIDGET”.
  4. Select “Free Instagram Grid” widget.
  5. Add your Instagram account.
  6. Copy the settings we recommend from below.
  7. Click on “Get Widget” and copy the HTML code.

Recommended settings

Thumbnail size: 250
Layout (Columns X Rows): 5 × 1
Photo Padding: 5
Hover Effect: Fade Out
Sharing Buttons: No
Responsive: Yes


Adding the code to Blogger

  1. Go to Layout.
  2. Open the “Instagram” widget.
  3. Paste the copied code into the Content box.
  4. Save your changes.


If your theme includes this, do not forget to change your Instagram username in the title of the widget or the heading widget above it.
