Template use
Purchasing a template grants you a single lincense — meaning that one template purchase can be used on one website. This licence is non-exclusive and non-transferable. If you would like to use the template on additional websites, you must purchase additional licenses by purchasing the product again. You may not share, sell, or resell the template or any of its code and components. When you purchase a template, you receive a copy of it, which means that the template is not only yours and will be resold to other customers.
Shop’s Credits
All of our templates contain credits section at the bottom of the site, which contains the shop’s name or initials, and the link to our website. Removing the credits without permission or without buying Shop Credits Removal add-on sold on our Etsy shop, is against the shop’s policies. You are authorized to make changes and modifications in the theme to fit your needs; in this case you can add “edited by…” into the footer after the credits. We ask that you respect our intellectual property by not claiming the design as your own.
Compatibility
You understand that our website templates are only compatible with Blogger.com/Blogspot.com. The templates can not be used on any other website building platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Tumblr, Shopify, and others. The templates can be used on websites with a purchased domain name.
Our templates are developed for Google Chrome. We cannot guarantee that our templates will work in all browsers and it is your responsibility to test browser compatibility with our demonstration templates beforehand.
Template delivery
All of our website templates are digital and you will not receive a physical item. You will have access to the files immediately after your payment is accepted and your order is finished. You can install the template yourself with the help of our detailed installation guides and tutorials, or you can request free installation — which may take up to three business days.
Please note that your purchase includes only the template. Template customization, a domain name, imagery, copywriting, SEO, and any other services and fees are not included in the purchase.
Refund policy
Due to digital nature of the products, our templates are not eligible for refunds or exchanges. You may cancel your order only before your payment is accepted and the order is finished. Once you have accessed the template, no refund can be given.
Before you make any purchase from our website or Etsy shop, we stronly encourage you to review the title of the product, the description, features, the demo site and other provided information. This way you will ensure that the template is a good fit for you and fits your needs and requirements.
Warranty
Our Blogger/Blogspot templates are provided without warranty. You assume responsibility for any and all costs associated with necessary servicing. We do not responsible for 3rd party plugins, widgets and services used in the template — such as the Instagram widget, newsletter mailing widget, Pinterest widget, and so on. In no event will we be held liable for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or other losses arising out of the use of or inability to use our products.
Template updates
All templates are regularly updated — due to fixing any mistakes and errors, to update any part of the code if necessary, and to make the template better and faster to load, in order to enhance your experience. If you purchased any of our templates and there is a new version available, you can request the updates version. Contact us on simplythestudio@gmail.com with your order number and we will send you the updates version of the template.
Support
We offer free support to any of our templates; even to templates that are no longer available on our Etsy shop. Technical support includes free template installation, fixing any errors and mistakes in the template code, or problems caused during installation. We are also happy to advice you and help you with blogging on Blogger and answer your questions about it. We aim to respond to questions within 3 business days.
We do not offer support with compatibility with third-party plugins, issues from modifications of custom code, or domain configurations. Free technical template support does not include custom template changes, edits, or modifications. In certain circumstances, when we consider that the required technical support is beyond the normal and usual scope, we reserve the right to charge for the consultation service. We will estimate the cost of the service beforehand.
Template/Content Backup
We do not create any backup files for your theme and/or blog content when installing the theme. We are not responsible for any lost content and code; and we advice you to regularly create a backup for your blog, as well as create a backup of your previous template before installing a new one or making any changes in the code.
Other
Our templates are not affiliated with Blogger/Blogspot or Google. We reserve the right to share screenshots of your public website featuring our templates on our website and social media. However, if you would not like us to share your site, please contact us to let us know. We will happily remove any images or links to your website.
